Harlie is a lovely lady who has come into Bleakholt as she was unhappy in the home since the owners moved. She had been in the home all of her life but became stressed with the house move and didn’t settle in the new home. We think Harlie would be best suited to a quiet home with no other pets as she didn’t get along with the other cat in the home who was her brother. Harlie has previously lived with a child and was fine with that so we think she would be fine to live with a sensible child in her new home.

Meet Hafir (pronounced Half-ear as he is missing half of one of his ears.) He was brought into us after his owner sadly passed away. He is quite a shy lad, but once he gets to know you he becomes a big needy baby! Hafir was brought into us with another cat called Tango, we have since realised that they are not bonded so we have decided to rehome them separately to give them both the best possible chance at finding them both their new forever homes. Hafir needs a quiet home with no other pets or children where he can take all the time he needs to settle in all over again. Once fully settled, Hafir will require the option to have outdoor access.

Just like the person, this Harry Kane’s biggest weakness also looks to be a good old steak, as this plump fella came in to us in need of a weight loss journey, and to find his forever home that can give him lots of cuddles and head scratches. Harry is one of the sweetest boys we have ever met, being told by his previous owners that he is a lap cat and spends most his time snuggling into his bed. He came in to us with his brother, Dizzy Rascal, but they do not need to be rehomed together as whilst they have been with us, they haven’t shown signs of being closely bonded whatsoever. Whilst being with us, Harry hasn’t shown any negative signs towards other cats so him being rehomed to a household with cats, is a possibility, however we do feel that a dog-free home as Harry is on the shy-er side and just wants a quiet retirement home full of love. In regard to kids, a home with kids aged 10+ would be ideal for this chap as too much chaos in the home is not what Mr Kane has requested! However he has put in a request to be able to have access to the outdoors so he can practice his flickbacks and keepy-uppies! So his new home would need to be away from high traffic areas/main roads to keep him safe and sound.

Some people think he’s bonkers, but we just think he’s cute!
Mr Rascal came in to us as his owners ill health had rapidly declined and she could no longer provide the love and care he deserves. He is a sweet boy who loves being around people, getting lots of fuss and settling down on a nice cosy lap for a long cat nap! Dizzy doesn’t like dogs, but is currently sharing one of our outdoor pens with other cats, so will be able to live with a compatible feline friend in the future. Ideally a home with cat savvy children, aged 10 years and older is what this big boy needs. Since being with us, our vet has found out that Dizzy has a grade 1/6 heart murmur, this is currently not affecting him whatsoever. Once fully settled into his new home, he will require outdoor access as this is what he’s used to.
