Genie is a female Guinea pig with an Abyssinian type coat, she is around 4 years old. She came to us as her sister died and the owners didn’t want to keep her on her own. She is friendly and enjoys attention and cuddles once she gets to know you according to her former owner. We are looking to re-home her to a home where she will have the company of other Guinea pigs, another lone female, female group or neutered male would be fine. New owners would need a separate temporary spot for her till she does mix fully with existing Guinea pigs. She will need indoor accommodation but will enjoy sometime outdoors in the warmer weather. Janis and Joplin are sisters, both born in July 2023. They are fit and well, in nice condition both with lovely coats and both are medium to dwarf sized. They do look very similar but Joplin does have a longer coat and is on the left of the picture. They were much loved pets but their owner was no longer able to care for them due to health issues so they came to us. Both are a little nervous at the moment so they will need some time to settle down and would be best in a quiet home without very young children. Both are neutered, vaccinated and will be microchipped before re-homing. They get on well together and we are re-homing them as a pair. Both have semi long coats so the will need some grooming or trimming to avoid tangles in their hair. Adopters should read the space guidelines at the top of the page. Poppy (left) and Violet are bonded sisters, both born around May 2023 and we are re-homing them as a pair. These two came to us from a difficult background and both are very timid and easily frightened. Due to this they would not be suitable for very young children and would be best in a quiet home. Both appear fit and well and both have very pretty faces. Once they have settled and can trust their new owner both should make lovely pets. They will need indoor accommodation but will enjoy sometime outdoors in the warmer weather. Strapbeard and Latebraker are bonded brothers, both around 3 years old. Strapbeard has a smooth coat and Latebraker has an Abyssinian type spikey coat. These two were much loved pets but unfortunately their owner developed quite a bad allergy to their fur, so the two came to us to find an new home. Both have settled well since being with us, they are placid, friendly and we have had no issues with handling them. They get on together well and we are re-homing these as a pair, both are quite large guinea pigs so any cage will need plenty of space.
