Fee (Formally Alfie) was brought into us as her owner had to move into a care home and no one else could take her in. She is a timid lady to begin with however, once comfortable, she is the sweetest, lovely lady! She loves to cuddle – she will put a paw on each shoulder and snuggle all day long if she is allowed. Fee had a cyst when she first arrived with us which has now been removed and shouldn’t cause any future issues, we are just waiting for the scabs to fall off and her fur to grow back. She doesn’t react when she sees another cat, so she may be fine to live with a compatible feline friend in the future. We have been told that she does not like dogs though! Given how timid she can be to begin with, we feel a quiet home with older children aged 8 years plus is ideal for Fee. Once fully settled she will require outdoor access as this is what she is used to.

Harlie is a lovely lady who has come into Bleakholt as she was unhappy in the home since the owners moved. She had been in the home all of her life but became stressed with the house move and didn’t settle in the new home. We think Harlie would be best suited to a quiet home with no other pets as she didn’t get along with the other cat in the home who was her brother. Harlie has previously lived with a child and was fine with that so we think she would be fine to live with a sensible child in her new home. Once fully settled, she will need access to the outdoors.

Got a sweet tooth? Fudge may be the one for you! Fudge was bought to Bleakholt as he was living as a stray. We came to find out his original owners no longer wanted him and relinquished ownership. Due to his living arrangements, Fudge was a dirty boy when he first arrived. He is now slowly getting his gorgeous clean coat back in tip top condition and is ready to find his new forever home. Fudge can be a little shy occasionally but overall he’s a confident gentleman who loves some one on one affection. Due to our limited knowledge of his past, we are unsure about his reactions to dogs, cats and children at this time but we are currently monitoring this. Fudge has a mild heart murmur- this does not affect his way of life or require any treatment. He will need outdoor access in his new home as that is what he is used to.

These two bundles of fun ae looking for a home together! Winter is Mr Tumbles mum and although we don’t normally rehome mums with their kittens often, these two are inseparable. Always playing together and snuggling up with each other for nap time. They would need to be kept indoors as Mr Tumble has mild CH which makes his co ordination and balance not the best so wouldn’t do too well going outside. They are very confident and would suit most homes though we are unsure how they’d be around dogs. Other compatible indoor cats and young children ages 5+ would be fine. Once Mr Tumble reaches six months old he will need neutering but Winter has already been done and recovered from that here. Please only get in touch if you feel your home is suitable. We are looking for a larger home for the pair ideally as they can’t have outdoor access, a catio would be perfect.
