Welcome to our mini dog gallery. This page gives you an idea of some of the many dogs that are or have been available for homing here at Bleakholt. Any of the animals shown here may have already found their new home. But do not worry, we always have plenty of new faces at the Sanctuary so please come and have a look round to see who catches your eye. Once you have chosen your new friend, we make a home visit. In particular, our policy is not to home a dog in any household that has a child under the age of 5 or that does not have an enclosed garden or yard. All our home visits are done on a voluntary basis which means there is a geographical limit to where our home visitors can travel. If you live too far away do consider sponsorship as an alternative way to help. Subject to a satisfactory home visit, arrangements can be made to collect your pet, when a minimum donation of £95 (£120 for a pedigree dog) must be made to the Sanctuary. If you can afford more then this would be greatly appreciated and the extra may be able to be treated as a Gift Aid donation in which case we can increase that additional donation by 28%. All our dogs are vaccinated, wormed and de-flead. The female dogs are spayed and the male dogs castrated. Also, all our dogs are microchipped. Our pets therefore represent superb value. Please remember that it will take time for any dog to settle in to a new home and new routines when making the transition from kennel to house. Please be patient and if you have any difficulties you are welcome to ring Bleakholt for advice. Also for many more of our animals why not check out our main Bleakholt Dogs Gallery? |
