New Head of Cat Section

Today the 26^th July saw Bleakholt with a new Head of Cats in the form of an old friend to both Bleakholt and other animal rescues. Fleur Watkins is a veterinary nurse who has held positions as a nurse and latterly a head nurse in veterinary practices that Bleakholt have dealt with for years.

However Fleurs passion is the rescue side of veterinary care, hence her transfer to firstly the Cinnamon Trust and now to Bleakholt.

We cast our net far and wide to find a suitable replacement for Vicky. Then fairly late in the process Fleur joined the process. From that point on it was pretty much a one horse race apart from a very good internal application from our own Vicky Wardle. Vicky came second out of over two hundred applicants and will be invaluable to Fleur as she settles in.

We all wish Fleur well in her new position and know that the cat section is in good hands.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish our outgoing Head of Cats, Vicky Chapman well with her new job.
