Dear Teacher/carer/leader,
Thank you for your interest in a guided tour of Bleakholt. We are very happy to have groups of children, young people and special needs groups visit us on any weekday by arrangement. We consider informing these groups to be part of our self appointed mandate for animal welfare.
If you are considering having your group visit as part of a project they are undertaking we are happy to provide the information they require and any other input you consider appropriate.
If you would like your visit to span the lunchtime period our café can be made available for you if you are able to bring packed lunches. The café will be closed to the public at the time so you can also use it as a classroom if you wish.
As always we have to be very careful about maintaining health and safety during your visit. For this purpose you may read a copy a copy of our risk assessment for group visits by following this link Risk Assesment If you have any matters that you need to discuss please ring and ask for me. When calculating your staffing ratios you may count the staff member conducting your tour as one of your required adults if you wish.
