UPDATE! Sadly, the weather was absolutely awful, so a huge thank you to everyone who braved it to come to our Dog Show! We raised £2,356 which is amazing! It was still a lot of fun with our brave pooches, even though they did get a little soggy!

Important Update: Dog Show on 17 August was Cancelled due to the forecast showing very high temperatures that could put our dogs (and their humans) at risk and their welfare will always come first. We are very sorry and please know this hasn’t been an easy decision, just the responsible one.

THE BLEAKHOLT DOG SHOW IS BACK – SUNDAY 17TH AUGUST 2025!

Calling all dog lovers, animal advocates, and fun-seekers! Mark your calendars because the Bleakholt Dog Show is returning, and we’d love you and your four-legged friends to be part of it! This is  where the Dogs will be the STARS of the show!

From 12 p.m. – 4 p. m. our Sanctuary will be transformed into a celebration of everything we love about dogs; their loyalty, their quirks, their beauty, and the joy they bring into our lives. Whether your pup is best in show or best in slobbery kisses, there’s a category (and a rosette) waiting for them.

♥  Show starts at 12 p.m. and Registration to enter is from 11 a.m. on the day

♥  No need to book, just pay on the day!

♥  It’s just £2 per class, or £5 for 3 classes – enter as many classes as you like. Best In Show is chosen from the winners in each class.

♥ Prettiest Pup (under 12 months)

♥ Gorgeous Girl

♥ Fabulous Fella

♥ Golden Oldie (over 7 years)

♥ Retrieve the Sausage!

♥ Best Rescue

♥ Waggiest Tail

♥ Musical Sit (needs owner participation!)

♥ Best Biscuit Catcher

♥ Dog Judge would most like to take Home

♥ Best In Show – from the winners in the other 10 classes, so no charge

This isn’t just a fun day out (though it really is a fun day out!), as by taking part, you’re directly supporting the animals at Bleakholt who are still waiting for their forever homes. Every dog toy bought, every coffee purchased, every raffle ticket helps us feed, care for, and rehabilitate the hundreds of animals we rescue each year. You don’t need a dog to come along – just come along!
