Halle is our beautiful black Arabian mare and has just celebrated her 4th Anniversary since she came into our lives. What a journey it has been too!

She arrived as a wide-eyed, feral-acting youngster who was terrified of her own shadow. Back then, even the simplest things were overwhelming for her. But with time, patience and of course, plenty of love (plus a few deep breaths from us when she gets herself stuck in gates or runs through them!), she’s grown into an almost sensible lady.

These days, Halle will confidently wear her rugs, ties up like a pro, stands calmly for the farrier, and helps bring the horses in from the field like it’s second nature to her. Watching her learn and grow has been so rewarding — every little milestone felt like a huge win.

That said, she still reminds us she has got her dramatic Arabian flair now and then, and her stable is still not her favourite place……. but honestly, we wouldn’t change her for the world.

Here’s to the quirky, clever, slightly over-the-top mare who keeps us laughing, learning, and loving her more every year.
