Many people actively support us through fundraising and raising money for our animals, whether this is by taking part in organised events, or by organising their own activity or event. Fundraising can be fun and also a great way of getting active and involved with our Sanctuary and there are so many different ways you can help us. Whatever you choose, big or small, every penny counts to help us to continue caring for our animals.

Sponsored Events

There are so many things you can be sponsored to do – skydive, shave your head, arrange a football tournament, take part in a sponsored walk or run, car boot sales, baking or craft sales, sponsored silence (good one for the kids!), selling items on eBay – anything your imagination can come up with!

Some people plan an activity around their interests or hobbies and you don’t have to organise your own event either as lots of people take part in a larger event such as a Marathon or sponsored run.

Challenge Yourself

Why not do something you have always dreamed of and help a good cause at the same time? By participating in more challenging events, such as skydiving for example, you can raise lots of money whilst successfully accomplishing an ambition!

Facebook Fundraisers

Facebook is a very simple way to hold a fundraiser for Bleakholt. Be it for your birthday or for an event, pages are very easy to set up and Bleakholt gets 100% of the donations paid directly to us.

How to donate

It’s fantastic when we receive a cheque for the money you have raised, but another great way is to set up your own fundraising page to make and receive donations online –it’s easy and very simple to use. You can find the Bleakholt JustGiving page by clicking here. We really appreciate all the effort and hard work that goes into supporting our animals and helping to give them the future they all deserve.

Thank you to everyone for supporting us and most of all – have fun!
