Stoosh (mum) and Shinar (daughter) are 6 and 2 year old french bulldogs. They came in to Bleakholt because their owner could no longer afford to keep them. They are lovely girls who are very friendly with everyone they meet. They love playing with squeaky toys in our exercise gardens. They ignore dogs whilst out on walks, they have lived with children and a cat. They are looking for a home together as they are very bonded.
They would suit a single person, a couple or a family with children 10 years and above.

This is Alba a 2 year old female Dogue de Bordeaux cross Staffie. She came in to us because her owner became homeless. She can be a little nervous when she first meets new people but it doesn’t take her long to become friends. She walks well on the lead but at times can pull, she is ok with some dogs while on walks and can be quite inquisitive but she doesn’t like cats. She will need a home where she will not be left for long periods of time as she suffers from separation anxiety. She would make a great companion for a single person, a couple or a family with dog savvy teenagers. Experience of bully breeds would be an advantage due to their boisterous nature. This gorgeous girl is Tinkerbelle, she is a french bulldog and is 5 years old. She came in to Bleakholt because of her owners ill health and they were unable to take care of her. She is the sweetest girl who loves everyone she meets. She has been around children therefore could possibly be rehomed to a family with children 8 years and above. she would also make a great companion to a single person or a couple. This is Ollie, he is a 7 year old Bichon frise cross. He originally came in to Bleakholt when his owner sadly passed away. Since being at Bleakholt he has been rehomed but unfortunately was returned as he wasn’t given the time to settle in to a new environment and became quite protective towards his new owner. Since being back with us he has continued to grow in confidence and we feel in the right home he will blossom. He walks great on lead and harness, loves being out and about and is good around other dogs whilst on walks. He can be a little wary to start with so needs a patient and understanding owner. Ollie has also had ongoing ear problems which have needed treatment at the vets, please factor this in when you submit your application.
