Project Description
This handsome boy is Buddy, a one-year Brindle Lurcher.
Buddy came in to Bleakholt via another organisation because he was an unclaimed stray, therefore we have no history of his life prior to coming in to rescue.
He is big, strong and energetic but can be calm on his walks. In the right environment, he will thrive and be your best “buddy”.
He is a friendly boy with everyone he meets and is looking for a home full of adventures and one where he won’t be left for long periods of time.
Buddy will need a confident handler because of his size and strength. As he is now in his adolescence, he will push the boundaries and at times will mouth.
But that being said, he would make a great companion for a single person, a couple or a family with older teenagers who are used to larger boisterous dogs.
He walks well on a lead and harness. He can pull at first but Buddy soon settles and is ok around some dogs although he can get excited at times.
