Project Description

We believe Chloe and Eve are sisters, both born sometime in July 2024, and we are re-homing them as a pair. Eve has the agouti coat and is on the left of the picture, Chloe has the grey colouring. Both have short coats and both are small/medium sized rabbits. They came to us after they were found abandoned on the Pennine moors, they were part of a group of 10 rabbits found left in a small cage there. Both are fit and well, have gentle natures but are still a little timid of being handled. They get on well together, have been together since their arrival and both are clean in their living area. Both have been vaccinated but are a little young yet for neutering but adopters will receive vouchers for free neutering when the rabbits are a little older and bigger. These will need secure accommodation as they are still small and could be prey to cats or large birds. They may be best initially indoors over the winter then will be fine to move outdoors when the weather improves. These two would love a second chance in a loving home, ideally with an experienced owner who has time to spend with them. The more time spent with them at this age will help accustom them to human contact. These 2 would not be best suited to very young children as they are still jumpy when handled but older children would be fine. Both will also be microchipped before re-homing with free registration, adopters also receive 4 weeks free petplan insurance cover for both rabbits. Applications are through the on-line form and we will get back to you A.S.A.P. We are open Thu, Fri, Sat and Sunday to visitors 11am till 4pm or if you are interested in re-homing you can also arrange to meet them outside these days by contacting us on farm@bleakholt.org
