Jerry needs a new accomplice (if you’re called Tom you get extra brownie points)! His story is quite saddening, as his original owners kicked him out permanently as they no longer wanted to care for him. When roaming the streets, looking for his next meal, he found a lovely man who took him under his wing, on Christmas. He got Jerry the vaccinations he needed, neutered and fed him up. It was thought that Jerry was a kitten when he found by this man, as he was so malnourished. The two were bestfriends and enjoyed eachothers company, however Jerry didn’t seem to get on with the cats in his new home. So now Jerry is with us and is looking for a forever home, with no other cats or dogs present. We are unsure on his reaction to kids, but we feel a home with cat-smart children over 14 will be ideal. Although Jerry has been described to us as a calm, loving, cuddly boy, we have noticed that he isnt behaving this way with us and we believe it’s purely due to the fact that he’s so unhappy at the sanctuary, because of this he is going to need someone with the time and patience Jerry needs to remind him that people are not all bad! He has previously been kept indoors but we do feel he would benefit from outdoor access in the future.

Mia and Jess were brought into us after their owners experienced a change in circumstances which lead to the heartbreaking decision of giving them up. Mia is the more confident of the pair, whilst Jess will take a little longer to come round to the idea of being your new bestie! They haven’t shown any negative signs towards the other cats since being with us, so may be fine to live with another compatible feline friend in the future, however Jess doesn’t like dogs! We feel a family home with cat savvy children aged 8 years plus will be ideal for the sisters as they will be given the time they need to settle in before allowing themselves to open up more. They have always been kept as indoor cats and given their age we think it’s best that this continues in their new home as this is what they’re used to and they won’t have much road sense. Mia has arthritis and is currently coping well but may need pain management in the future.

Enzo was brought into us with 6 other cats all of which had cat flu. After weeks in our isolation unit, he has recovered and is ready for a fresh start elsewhere. He is a timid boy but we are confident that in the correct environment with the right owners, his true colours will soon shine! He’d be best to live as an only cat with him having cat flu in the past, he will most likely be a carrier of the virus so could pass this on to other cats in the home. We think its best he goes somewhere with older children of 10 years plus simply because of his nervous side. Once this handsome man is fully settled into his new, forever home, he will require access to the outdoors as this is what he’s used to and a dry diet to help with his gingivitis.

It’s Tiddles time! This long legged missy came to us back in December after being found as a heavily pregnant stray. it wasn’t long before she had 5 little babies. The babies are now away from their mum and It’s time for Tiddles to find a family willing to give her all the attention and toys she’s missed out on (although she can’t have any soft toys as she likes to snack on them!) This little miss is forever curious of everything going on around her, constantly thinking she’s missing out on something interesting (and tasty!) so does like to be involved in everything, but she also enjoys stretching onto staffs shoulders for cuddles and cheek scratches. She will need access to the outdoors and due to our limited history on her, we do not know what she is like with cats or dogs, but we feel a home where Tiddles can burn off her energy is ideal.
