Project Description
These bonded best friends are called Gus and Jaques and we are re-homing them as a pair. Gus is on the right of the picture, Jaques on the left. They were well cared for pets, but unfortunately their owner could no longer keep them, so they have come to us to find a new home. They get on well together. Both were born around December 2024 and both are healthy and in lovely condition. Gus is a Peruvian type Guinea pig with a long coat and Jaques is a short haired variety, Gus will need regular grooming and would benefit from a trim from time to time. They are both friendly and tame but will still need time to settle down when they go to a new home, and they would suit someone experienced in keeping guinea pigs, especially long haired breeds. They will need indoor accommodation but will enjoy sometime outdoors in the warmer weather. Guinea pigs can make great pets with the right set up and a little patience. Adoption applications are through the on-line form and we will get back to you by email A.S.A.P. We are open Thu, Fri, Sat and Sunday to visitors 11am till 4pm if you want to meet them, or if you are interested in re-homing you can also arrange to meet them outside these days by contacting us on farm@bleakholt.org
