Rosie is a three year old cross breed, she was returned to us through no fault of her own. She is very high energy, and needs an experienced family that has owned working/high energy breeds. Rosie is friendly with people once she knows you but can get very giddy quickly. Rosie needs enrichment and high levels of exercise. Rosie is hit and miss with dogs liking some but not others so she would be better as an only pet. She is very strong on the lead and does need some training when out walking. Esme and Winston are a lovely pair of chihuahuas who are to be rehomed together, they follow each other everywhere and really depend on one another. They are both very nervous so will require a quiet household with a super secure garden/yard, they are 4 and 5 years old. Esme does make a lot of noises like snorting which is just due to having a soft palette. They would need a home with no children or other animals, the potential new owner would need to come and spend time with them as they do need to get to know you before they will come to you. This stunning young lady is Sansa, she is an 8mth old GSD, she arrived with us through no fault of her own, her owner had a change in circumstances and could no longer give Sansa the time she needs. Sansa has lived with young teenagers in the past so we would be happy to re-home her with teenagers, she is typical of the breed, very vocal when out and about when she see’s a dog, the previous owner has said this is because she wants to play with other dogs, Sansa is very sweet and loves people and would make an amazing family friend, ideally we are looking for a family that has had experience with GSD’s if you feel that Sansa could be the newest member of your family please apply on-line.

This is Ollie, he is a 7 year old Bichon frise cross. He originally came in to Bleakholt when his owner sadly passed away. Since being at Bleakholt he has been rehomed but unfortunately was returned as he wasn’t given the time to settle in to a new environment and became quite protective towards his new owner. Since being back with us he has continued to grow in confidence and we feel in the right home he will blossom. He walks great on lead and harness, loves being out and about and is good around other dogs whilst on walks. He can be a little wary to start with so needs a patient and understanding owner. Ollie has also had ongoing ear problems which have needed treatment at the vets, please factor this in when you submit your application.
