This is Sheba. Unfortunately Sheba has been returned to us due to her being to strong. Sheba is lovely girl, but very behind with her training. She needs a family that is active and happy to do training classes or implement your own techniques and consistency is vital. So a home with people with the time to do this is really important. she is not house trained as never lived in a home environment. Sheba can be rehomed to a family with older children 12+ and a home with no other animals. Sheba can pull on the lead when something catches her attention, but generally she is happy to walk and not pay much attention to other dogs etc…. she is a clever girl and caches on very quickly. Hi my name is Roxie, I am a 4 year old Bull terrier. I do have to say that I am amazingly awesome, I am a bit overweight but tons of fun. Whilst being at Bleakholt I have heard them say how much of a nice loving girl I am, I would love to be in a home where I will be spoilt rotten because I am a princess, and love to be with someone. When I am on a walk I bark at people but love to say hello when I get near them. I have walked along side some dogs but have never lived with one so would prefer to be the only pet. This sweet boy is Spencer; he is an 8-year-old Bedlington whippet cross. He came in to Bleakholt because he has separation anxiety and will need a home with someone who is home most of the day, he has not been destructive here with us but has been vocal. He is good around other dogs and loves to play fetch in our off-lead area, he has lovely manners when playing ball. He walks well on a lead and harness and hardly pulls. Spencer does have a fatty lump on the left side of his chest; this has been vet checked and causes no problems issues for him. He is such a loving boy who enjoys human contact, he has been around children and could possibly be re-homed with a family with children 10+ who are used to dogs. This gorgeous boy is Bruno; he is a 3 year old English bulldog. Bruno came in to Bleakholt via another organisation, we therefore have very little information regarding his life prior to coming in to rescue but we do know he is friendly with people has been fine around dogs while on walks and does this boy love his walks! He is active, energetic and at times boisterous, he is very playful, especially with footballs. Due to limited information, we feel a pet free home would suit Bruno’s needs best. He would make a brilliant companion for a single person, a couple or a family with teenagers who are used to dogs.
