Blue is a handsome big boy who was brought to Bleakholt through no fault of his own after his owners health declined rapidly and she was no longer able to provide him with the love and care that he deserves. He has previously lived with a dog, however we were told that he often beat the dog up, with this in mind, we feel a home where Blue is the only pet is ideal. He can often get a little overstimulated and he expresses this with the odd bite and scratch – due to this, a home with no young children who will understand if he wants some time to himself will be for the best. Blue has never been outside, given his age we feel it’s the safest option to keep him as a house cat in the future as he will have limited road sense. Since being with us, our vet has picked up a grade 2/6 heart murmur – this is not currently causing any issues and requires no treatment,

Joe the cat and Figaro are both lovely lady’s but unfortunately not enjoying sanctuary life at the minute. They came to us after their owner sadly passed away. As they have never had access to the outside they will need to be an indoor cats, so will require a home with plenty of space to roam and play in. We feel a home with no other pets and or young children would suit them the best given their timid nature. With time and patience Joe and Figaro would make lovely companions and warm any household.

These two beautiful boys were brought to Bleakholt as their owner didn’t have the time to provide the care and attention they deserved. Bruce (the more white one) is the more confident of the two but his brother, Milo certainly takes comfort and reassurance in having his best friend around. Although Milo was a little more shy in the beginning, it didn’t take him long to come around and now they are both loving, affectionate, playful young boys who deserve a second chance in a home with a family who cares for then and loves them back. A loving family home with children and compatible feline friends will be great for these two little lads. They have also previously lived with a dog without issues so should be fine to do so again in the future. Once fully settled, both boys will require outdoor access.

Charlie and Thomas came to us as their owners were getting evicted. Described as a bonded pair, we are told Thomas is the more confident of the two, being an outgoing and energetic gentleman with Charlie having a quieter, more timid nature. We have little information of the duo so we are continuing to observe their quirks, personalities and behavior whilst with us, so we’ve yet to know how they would be with children, other cats or dogs. Thomas and Charlie will require outdoor access in their new home.
