Meet Goop. His owner had no other choice but to make the devastating decision to give him up as he simply wasn’t happy in the home and he was taking his frustrations out on the children and other cats. He was understandably very timid on arrival, however it didn’t take him long to come out of his shell and we have found him to be one of the sweetest babies ever! Due to the circumstances of which he came into us, he will have to go to a home with cat savvy children aged 8 years and older and with no other felines! We have been told he reacted well to the calm dog in his previous home so should be fine to have a compatible canine friend in the future. Once fully settled into his new forever home, Goop will require outdoor access as this is what he’s used to.

Sweety is a lovely lady who came into us because her owners were unable to give her the care and attention she deserves due to their own poor health. She was recently returned through no fault of her own, her most recent owner had to let her go due to work commitments. She is a little timid to begin with but with time and patience, her loving personality is shining through! She has been outside and used a litter tray in her previous home so it would be ideal if she has access to both in her new home. Sweetie should be fine to go to a home with other cats as she hasn’t shown any negative signs towards other cats. Although due to her shy personality we think it’s best she goes to a home with no dogs, and with children ages 10+. Whilst here with us, the vet has diagnosed Sweety with a grade 4/6 heart murmur, however this isn’t effecting her health whatsoever

You might have read about these two sweet boys on our Facebook page. They were cruelly thrown over the wall of the sanctuary one morning by a horrible man who had clearly gone to great efforts to plan this as he had covered the number plate of his car to prevent him from being traced. We cant for the life of us figure out why he would do such a disgusting thing as both boys are incredibly loving! Due to the circumstances of which they arrived, we are unsure what they are like with other cats/dogs/young children at this time, but we will continue to monitor this whilst they are with us. Given their young age, we feel they would benefit from outdoor access once fully settled into their new forever home.

Lilo and Luna were brought into us as their owners moved away and left them behind, the neighbors were unfortunatly unable to keep them. They were both understandably quite timid on arrival, but we have noticed that Luna is taking a little longer than Llio to come round, but we are confident that with a bit of time and patience, both of their true personalities will soon shine through. As neither of them have built up enough confidence to venture out of their cages yet, we are unsure on their reaction towards other felines, however we will continue to monitor this whilst they are with us. The people that brought them in have told us that Lilo liked to go outside a lot more than his sister, however we still feel they both would benefit greatly to having access to the outdoors in the future.
