Messi was brought to Bleakholt with her mum, Nokia as their owners were moving away. They are not particularly bonded so do not have to be rehomed together, but can do if someone would want to rehome the pair. Messi is an extremely timid lady who needs time and patience to come out of her shell, which she is currently doing ever so slowly! An ideal home will be a quieter one with no young children and possibly a compatible feline friend to help bring her out of her shell a little. Messi was previously kept as a house cat, but we have been told that she did show interest in venturing outside, so will require outdoor access in the future – her new home will need to be in a low traffic area as she will have very little road sense.

Alice was brought to Bleakholt after being taken to a vets as a stray. She was hanging around near someone’s workplace – they had planned to get her scanned for a microchip but when the day came, she had disappeared. A week later, she was found locked inside one of the work vans! She was dehydrated and anemic, but was treated and soon made a full recovery. We don’t know much about her history, but due to her overly confident personality, we feel a pet-free home would be best. Alice has a ‘sassy’ side so she just wants to find a home to call her own and a family who will take her on – quirks and all! We feel she would be happiest in a home with no young children. Once fully settled, Alice will require outdoor access as this is what she is used to.

Cheeky is a beautiful girl who came to Bleakholt with her feline friends, Minnie and Jackson, after their owner died and none of the family wanted to take them on. After our vet gave her a check up, it was clear that she has had it rough in the past! She has a bald patch on the top of her head which is believed to be an old, healed scar (we have no idea what from,) her poos haven’t been great since she came into us and she needed a dental – she has undergone the dental operation and recovered well and she is on a special veterinary diet called WD to help her sensitive stomach (has already improved a lot since going on this diet.) Whilst under general anesthetic for the dental, the vets found a small mass, which they aspirated and it resolved, however since the op, it has come back – our vet does believe it is a cysts and it isn’t causing her any pain or issues currently. Although she is a sweet and loving lady now, she does take time to come around, so due to her unsure nature, we feel a quieter home with no young children or other pets is ideal for Cheeky. We also think it is best for her to be kept as a house cat as she is on the special diet.

Meet Oreo ! This lovely lady is 4 years old and came to Bleakholt as her owner was unwell. Oreo is described as being loving on her terms, adventurous and independent. She has lived with a small dog before so may be ok living with one again in the future and cat savvy kids ages 8+. Once settled she will require outdoor access as that’s what she’s used to.
