Moorka came to Bleakholt with her feline friends, Sheba and Levi as their owner had to move out of the country. Moorka has been described as extremely friendly, however she has got a history of overgrooming – this is typically caused through stress, we have put her on a supplement called zylkene to help keep her as calm as possible whilst she is with us. We are looking for a quieter home with cat savvy children and aged 8 years and older. We are currently unsure on her true feelings towards other cats as we were told she often swiped at the other cats in her previous home – we will closely monitor this whilst she is with us. Once fully settled into her new forever home, Moorka will require outdoor access as this is what she is used to. Since being with us, our vet has found that Moorka has a grade 2 heart murmur, this is not currently affecting her. Moorka also has FAD, this is a fleabite allergy and is just treated with monthly flea treatment.
