Smudge is a lovely lady who was well cared for in a home all of her life before coming to us, unfortunately the owners allergies became worse and so Smudge was spending most of her time outdoors. She is an independent lady who likes her own company so she would prefer a home where she is the only pet. Smudge likes attention on her own terms like most tortie females so we think an adult only home or with cat savvy children 8+ years would be perfect for her. Once settled, she will require outdoor access as this is what she is used to.

Joe the Cat is a friendly lady who isn’t enjoying sanctuary life at the minute. She came to us with her step sister Joe the cat after their owner passed away. She has never been outside so will need to be an indoor cat, so will require a home with plenty of space to roam and play in her retirement. We feel a home with no other pets and or young children would suit her the best given her timid nature. Joe and Figero can be rehomed together but we have been told that they are not extremely bonded so they can be rehomed separately if needed.

This poor little girl has had a tough start in life – she was dumped alongside her mum and litter mates, soon after her mum was killed by a speeding car. Little Catherine and her littler mates were left to fend for themselves until she was trapped and brought to us. She is understandable extremely timid and takes a little time and patience to come around to new people in new environments. A quieter home with older children and possibly a compatible feline friend who can show her that not all people are bad will be perfect for this little firework! Once fully settled into her new, forever home, Catherine will require outdoor access.

Olive Oil and her brother Spinach came to Bleakholt after being found as strays. Olive oil was found with a very nasty infection in one of her eyes which meant it had to be removed. She has recovered well and we expect no long term affects.
The kittens would suit most homes, where they can be the only cats due to being potential; herpes carriers. We are looking for a home where they can live as indoor cats due to Olive oils missing eye!
