Daphne is a neutered female lionhead cross rabbit, we estimate she’s around 2 years old and she’s of medium size. She came to us after being found stray in Heaton park so we have no background information on her. We have had Daphne vaccinated and neutered since she has been with us, she has recovered well from this and is now all ready for a new home. Daphne is placid and comfortable with herself but is a bit nervy with people, so she will need a little patience before she trusts a new owner. She has been well behaved since she’s been with us, with no handling issues, and is clean in her living area. Daphne would be fine living outdoors with the right set up but could also make a house rabbit with a little work. We would like to re-home her as a partner for another lone rabbit, ideally a neutered male, and adopters will need a temporary separate area for her while bonding with an existing rabbit. She will be microchipped before re-homing with registration. Our rabbits are also re-homed vet health checked and with 4 weeks free pet plan insurance cover. Bonnie and Snowy are a bonded, neutered male and female pair, both born at the start of 2023. They’ve been together most of their lives and we are re-homing them as a pair. Bonnie is a Dutch female rabbit with grey/black and white markings, Snowy is a male blue eyed white dwarf lop. Snowy is the more confident of the two with Bonnie being a little more shy. Both have short coats, both are healthy and both are medium sized rabbits. They were much loved pets but their owner was no longer able to care for them due to a health condition. Snowy isn’t a fan of being picked up, like most rabbits, and they would suit adults or older children, they would not be suitable for young children. We’ve had no problems with these 2 since their arrival. Both are lively and full of beans, but they are a little nervy so will just need a settling in period in a new home, which is quite normal for most rabbits. These two previously lived both indoors and outside so they would be fine with either, or mixture of the two, provided the accommodation is suitable. Both are vaccinated and will also be microchipped before re-homing with free registration, adopters receive 4 weeks free petplan insurance cover for both rabbits. We will also give adopters a voucher for free neutering of Bonnie should she not be done before re-homing, Snowy is neutered so there is no chance of unwanted babies. Sonny and Dolly are a bonded, neutered male and female pair, Sonny was born in January 2024, Dolly in July 2024. They’ve been together most of their lives and we are re-homing them as a pair. Both are Dutch rabbits, Dolly is the female with grey/black and white markings, Sonny is the male, is larger and has a black and white coat. Sonny is the more confident of the two with Dolly being a little more shy. Both have short coats, both are healthy and both are medium sized rabbits. George is a young male lop who was found abandoned in parkland earlier this year. We estimate he was born sometime in April this year. We have recently had him neutered so he is now ready for a new home. George originally spent sometime out if a foster home when he first arrived so is well used to people, and we have no issues with handling or his behaviour. George has lop ears and is all black apart from a white front leg. He’s quite clean and tidy in his living area and does use a toilet area so he could make a good house rabbit but would also be fine outdoors with the right set up. George is a small to medium sized rabbit and has a short coat, he is a real character, lively and very curious of his surroundings . George would like some company in a new home so we are looking to re-home him as a partner for an existing lone rabbit, ideally a neutered female of a similar age. When bonding him adopters will need separate temporary accommodation until both rabbits can live together safely.
