Project Description

Rhonda and Megan are a pair of female rabbits who are around 4 months old. They had been left in a box in a field near Bury. It’s thought they are cross breed with wild rabbits, they may have been intended to use as food or “sport”. They are both very timid and behave like wild rabbits so it’s very difficult to handle them and they scare very easily. They would be best suited to a home where the owner can give them their basic care needs while realising it will take a long time before they become tame if ever. Any accommodation must be very secure and any exercise area needs to be covered as they will climb and can jump high. They are not suitable to be re-homed with dogs or young children.
