We believe Tufnel and Hubbins are brothers, both are around 12-18 months old. These 2 were abandoned outside a vet surgery on new years eve so we know nothing of their background. Tufnel is on the right of the picture and is a crested type, Hubbins has a longer coat and is part bred Abyssinian. Both are in nice condition and have obviously been looked after in the past. The vets did health checked them and both are healthy. They have settled well since being with us, and they get on well together with no squabbling, but they are still a little timid of people which is understandable given their background. We are re-homing them as a pair. They will need indoor accommodation but will enjoy sometime outdoors in the warmer weather. These 2 are not large Guinea pigs and will need to be away from cats or other potential predators. They will need a little patience to begin with before they will settle and trust a new owner. Guinea pigs can make great pets with the right set up and a little patience. If you do want to offer these 2 a home please complete the application form online and we will get back to you A.S.A.P. Mystic Derek is a neutered male lionhead cross rabbit, he was born in October 2021. Derek came to us as his owners split up and he had no where to stay. Derek did live as a house rabbit before coming to us, but could adapt to outdoor as well with the proper set up. Derek has been a dream since he has been with us and we can’t recommend him strongly enough! Derek is friendly, very outgoing and inquisitive. Derek is very clean in his living space and uses a toilet area so his space is always easy to clean. Derek would like some company and we are hoping to re-home him as a partner for an existing lone rabbit, ideally a neutered female, when bonding him adopters will need separate temporary accommodation for them till both rabbits can live together safely. Derek would be best as a house rabbit but this is not set in stone. He will be fine with adults and children but we always insist an adult is the primary carer for the rabbit. Mystic Derek is microchipped and fully vaccinated and our rabbits are also re-homed with 4 weeks free pet plan insurance cover. We believe Rachel and Leah are sisters, both born sometime in July 2024, and we are re-homing them as a pair. Both have Thuringer markings. Leah is on the left with white feet, Rachel on the right. Both have short coats and both are small/medium sized rabbits. They came to us after they were found abandoned on the Pennine moors, they were part of a group of 10 rabbits found left in a small cage there. Both are fit and well, have gentle natures but are still a little timid of being handled. They get on well together, have been together since their arrival and both are clean in their living area. Both have been vaccinated but are a little young yet for neutering but adopters will receive vouchers for free neutering when the rabbits are a little older and bigger. These will need secure accommodation as they are still small and could be prey to cats or large birds. They may be best initially indoors over the winter then will be fine to move outdoors when the weather improves. These two would love a second chance in a loving home, ideally with an experienced owner who has time to spend with them. The more time spent with them at this age will help accustom them to human contact. These 2 would not be best suited to very young children as they are still jumpy when handled but older children would be fine. Both will also be microchipped before re-homing with free registration, adopters also receive 4 weeks free petplan insurance cover for both rabbits.
