Project Description

Steve-o is a sweet boy who was brought to Bleakholt after a life time of fending for himself on the streets as a stray. A kind family took him in and paid to get him neutered. They found out that he was FIV+ so unfortunately couldn’t keep him as they already had cats of their own. FIV is common amongst unneutered male strays. We feel that a loving family home with cat savvy children aged 8 years and older would be ideal for Steve-o. As he has FIV, he is now only able to live with other feline friendly FIV+ cats. He will also have to be kept as a housecat in the future. Our vet has found that Steve-o has a grade 6 heart murmur. He does not need any medication for this and it is not currently affecting his quality of life.
