Scabatha came to us after being found in the middle of a road. We don’t have much history on her, but she is curious of her new surrounds and is very friendly. Up on arrival, our concerns for Scabatha grew more and more, after our vet gave her a poor body condition score of 1/9, we got her in for some urgent blood tests. The results have shown that she is in end stage renal failure and has hypothyroidism – We do not know how long she has left. Her fur is falling out in clumps, our vet has said that this is caused from the toxins in her blood from her failing kidneys. We are unable to treat her hypothyroidism as it will cause her kidneys further damage. We are desperate for this beautiful girl to finally know what it feels like to be loved in a home for whatever time she has left. Ideally, we are looking for a quiet home without other pets and children so she can live out her retirement days in peace, being pampered the way she truly deserves!

Mishy and Tarri were brought to Bleakholt as their owner could no longer afford to provide them with the care they deserve. They are shy girls who take some time to come out of their shells. We are looking for a home where they can be treated like the true princesses that they are – ideally a quieter one with older, cat savvy children and possibly a compatible feline friend to help encourage them out of their shell a bit more. Both girls were previously kept as housecats, given their initial timid nature, we are happy to rehome them as indoor only cats again in the future.

Eddie is a handsome, vocal boy who was brough to us as a stray from the Rochdale area. We are looking for a home with older, cat savvy children who will understand that it may take him a little bit of time to warm up to his new home before showing his true, loving colours. We feel a compatible feline friend will also be beneficial for Eddie. Once fully settled, he will require outdoor access as this is what he is used to.

Skarsgard was bought to Bleakholt after frequenting a residence as a long term stray. Due to this we have little information on him. We will learn more about his personality whilst he is with us but currently, he is a very scared boy who needs a home with understanding owners who are willing to give him the time to come out of his shell. We feel a pet and children free home will suit him best. We are gradually gaining trust with the little guy and he is started to trust us enough to enjoy cheek rubs and rolling over on his back! We were informed he was found covered in red residue at some point – a vet visit confirmed he was OK but it seems someone had thrown red paint over him (reason unknown!). As you can see from his timid face, he is a shy boy who does not like loud noises but his finder’s informed us he is an affectionate gentleman once some trust is built. Skarsgard will require outdoor access
