Zeus came to Bleakholt after being taken on by a lovely lady as his original owners no longer wanted him. Sadly, as much as she adored the handsome boy, she was struggling to accommodate to his loving personality and playful nature, and felt he deserved a home that could provide all the cuddles and enrichment he loves! Enjoying toys and affection, we feel Zeus would suit most family homes, having been around young children. Zeus is currently sharing an outdoor pen with other feline, but we do not know his reaction towards dogs. Whilst Zeus has been kept in all his life, we feel, due to his young age and adventurous energy, he would benefit from outdoor access, so will need to be rehomed away from used roads due to no road sense.

Daffy sadly originally came to us as her owner passed away and believed Daffy to be struggling with the loss. As far as we know, it has only ever been Daffy and her owner, and we feel due to the sudden passing, Daffy has struggled with the change, coming to us in quite a rough way. She was very briefly rehomed in October but unfortunately had to come back due to the new owners’ declining health. Whilst wary at first, Daffy is a sucker for cheek scratches and we feel she would love a home where she can cuddle up on the couch with her new forever adopted parent/s. As we have very little history on her, pet and children free home will be beneficial. We have also been told Daffy has been kept indoors most of her life so feel it would be kept as a housecat in her new home. Since being with us, our vet has picked up a minor grade 1/5 heart murmur – this could be due to the stress of being here and doesn’t require any treatment.

Prudence came to us with her brother as their owners couldn’t cope with multiple cats. She is a sweet girl who would suit most homes. Due to her friendly nature we think she would be fine to live with compatible dogs/cats/children. Prudence will make the perfect family pet, once neutered she will require outdoor access.

This handsome man was brought to us as a stray from a vets in Rochdale. We are confident that he has had a home at some stage in his life given how confident and friendly he is with everyone he meets! Although he can be a little unsure to begin with, it doesn’t take him long to come around and warm up to his new besties. We have been told that he isn’t a fan of dogs, and he has made it clear that he doesn’t wish to share his future forever home with any feline friends in the future. We feel a family home with cat savvy children aged 8 years and older will be ideal for this big boy. Once fully settled, Gregg will require outdoor access.
