Project Description
Big Tony came to us as a stray that was being fed for awhile around Prestwich. The people who brought him into us had tried to find anybody that may have been missing him, however nobody was, and he is now with us in the hope that he does feel loved and cared for, even if this hasn’t been the case before Bleakholt. Whilst he’s been with us, he’s been very down in the dumps and meowing all the time for our attention. You can tell he is a lovely boy, and we’re looking for his forever home to understand that he may take some time to fully come out of his shell, but that he’ll get there eventually. We have told that whilst living as a stray, he would come up to the people that fed him regularly, giving them an abundance of head-bumps and affection. He has not been around children and so we are open to rehoming Tony to a household with kids aged 8+. In regards to other animals, we have been told that Tony is terrified of dogs, and tends to fight with other cats, so he will need to be the only pet in his new home. Tony will have to live as a house cat as he is FIV positive.
