Project Description

Wallace is one of the most popular and friendly of all our goats, he will often be seen close to the fence enjoying the attention from visitors to the sanctuary. Wallace was the dominant goat of the heard but now his younger rival Edward has taken over.
Wallace has been with us at the sanctuary since 2013. He had been found roaming loose on a busy road. Wallace is a British Toggenburg type goat and in his younger days was very active. After his arrival we had to heighten all the fences of the pen and his stable walls as he was regularly leaping out of them. He is much calmer these days though. You may notice Wallace’s horns have not formed properly (likely due to a botched attempt to remove them at a young age) one grows backwards and needs regular trimming to avoid it growing into his head.
