This poor little girl has had a tough start in life – she was dumped alongside her mum and litter mates, soon after her mum was killed by a speeding car. Little Catherine and her littler mates were left to fend for themselves until she was trapped and brought to us. She is understandable extremely timid and takes a little time and patience to come around to new people in new environments. A quieter home with older children and possibly a compatible feline friend who can show her that not all people are bad will be perfect for this little firework! Once fully settled into her new, forever home, Catherine will require outdoor access.

Olive Oil and her brother Spinach came to Bleakholt after being found as strays. Olive oil was found with a very nasty infection in one of her eyes which meant it had to be removed. She has recovered well and we expect no long term affects.
The kittens would suit most homes, where they can be the only cats due to being potential; herpes carriers. We are looking for a home where they can live as indoor cats due to Olive oils missing eye!

Stripe is a timid lady who is looking for a quiet home where she can curl up on the couch with her family and snooze the day away! She does take some time to come around to new people, but once she does, she is the most affectionate baby ever! A home with older, cat savvy children, who will have the patience to allow her to come out of her shell in her own time, and no other pets is ideal for Stripe as she has a history of not getting along with her feline friends in her previous home. Once fully settled in her new forever home, Stripe would like the option to venture outdoors.

Daffy sadly originally came to us as her owner passed away and believed Daffy to be struggling with the loss. As far as we know, it has only ever been Daffy and her owner, and we feel due to the sudden passing, Daffy has struggled with the change, coming to us in quite a rough way. She was very briefly rehomed in October but unfortunately had to come back due to the new owners’ declining health. Whilst wary at first, Daffy is a sucker for cheek scratches and we feel she would love a home where she can cuddle up on the couch with her new forever adopted parent/s. As we have very little history on her, pet and children free home will be beneficial. We have also been told Daffy has been kept indoors most of her life so feel it would be kept as a housecat in her new home. Since being with us, our vet has picked up a minor grade 1/5 heart murmur – this could be due to the stress of being here and doesn’t require any treatment.
