Apply online to adopt Shiva (Floof)

Shiva (who often responds more to Floof) is a shy lady who was brought to Bleakholt as her owners could no longer cope with her ongoing medical needs. She has suffered with urinary problems on and off for a few years – she has recently had an operation to remove stones from her bladder and her owners were told that they could return. Shia is on a special urinary diet to help reduce any symptoms. Since being with us, she has shown no signs of any urinary symptoms. It all became too much for the owners to deal with and they had to make the upsetting decision to bring her to us. Shiva is a pampered princess – she likes fuss from time to time, but also enjoys some peace and quiet by herself – she will let you know which she is feeling! We feel a quiet home with no young children or other pets would be ideal for her to try and reduce any possible stress triggers. She has been kept as a house cat previously and we feel it would be best for this to continue in her future, forever home.

Apply online to adopt Puma

Puma came to Bleakholt as her owner had too many cats and was not giving her the care she needed. Described as a friendly, gentle girl, Puma is understandably wary of her new surroundings but is showing us she does like some attention once some trust is built. We feel she would suit a family home with children aged 8 years and over who understand her slight nervousness but who can also provide plenty of love to show Puma she’s still in her kitten era! Puma may benefit from a feline friend but do not know her reaction towards dogs. Puma will require outdoor access.

Apply online to adopt Buttercup

Buttercup came to us after he owner was unfortunately taken in to care. She is a loud girl who loves to talk. While timid at first we have been told that once you earn her trust she is a lap cat who enjoys a cuddle. Since being with us she has shown just how loving she is and how much she DRIBBLES when catnip is involved! Buttercup has lived with small dogs before so could be rehomed to a home with cat friendly dogs. We are unsure of he reaction to other cats, but we will monitor this during he time with us. With her being on the shy side we feel a home with no young children would suit he best. Once settled Buttercup will require space to roam outside.

Apply online to adopt Leo

Leo’s owner brought him into us due to allergies in the home. He is a regal gentleman who’s adventurous days are behind him. He is a quiet cat who enjoys peace and long naps. Leo used to spend a lot of his time outside exploring, however we have been told that he has taken to sleeping the day away in a warm, comfy bed instead. Due to this, we are wanting to rehome Leo with the option of venturing outside if he chooses to. Leo is a timid lad, he needs a quiet, understanding home where he can be given the time and patience to come out of his shell when he is ready. For now, we get the impression he’d love a home where he can get some fuss if he fancies it but likely just happy to spend the day snoozing in a warm bed. A home with no young children but potentially a compatible feline friend will be ideal for him. Our vet has said that Leo does have a bit of gingivitis, a mostly dry diet should help with this. Leo does also require regular brushing.

Apply online to adopt Nina

Nina is a confident little ladies who came to Bleakholt with her feline friend after they were unfortunately found in their home with their owner who had sadly passed away. Nina hasn’t stopped purring since she arrived with us, she just wants to be fussed constantly! We have limited history on Nina, but from what we have found out so far, we feel a loving family home with children and even potentially a compatible feline friend will be ideal for her. Given their young age and how active she is, we feel she would benefit from having the option to venture outdoors once settled into her new, forever home.

Apply online to adopt Maxi

Maxi came to us at the beginning of August as a stray. It took some time to learn some mutual trust but he is now a very affectionate lad who simply is not a fan of being picked up. Despite being a typical boy with a big build, Maxi is quite nervous with other cats – both big and small – so feel he would be best as the only pet in his new home and would suit a quiet adult only home. Maxi was briefly rehomed but sadly had to be returned as he was becoming stressed and becoming hostile. Maxi will require outdoor access.

Apply online to adopt Churchill

Churchil came to us after living as a stray for quite some time, believed to have been abandoned by his owners. As you can see from the photo, he has lived a hard life and can see he has spent some time defending himself on the streets. His founder described him as a loving gentleman once he trusts you, but is not overly fond on being handled. We will learn more about Churchill whilst with us. He seems to not like other cats and due to his timid nature we feel a home where is he the only be would be most suitable. He may be okay with cat-savvy children. Churchill will require outdoor access. Churchill does have mild cataracts in his left eye, however this does not cause him any issues.

Apply online to adopt George

George is a handsome, chatty young lad who was brought to Bleakholt as a stray. His feeder had fallen in love with him, but was unfortunately unable to take him on as she already owned two indoor only cats who he did not get along with. We are looking for a loving home with older, cat savvy children for George who can provide him with all the fuss and food he could ever want! As he didn’t get on with cats before coming to us, George will need to be the only pet in his new home. Once fully settled, he will require outdoor access as this is what he is used to.

Apply online to adopt Snowy Owl

This white angel came to Bleakholt after being found as a stray with her 3 young kittens. It was clear the kittens had little human interaction before but we are certain Snowy once had a home due to her confident demeanour. Snowy Owl would suit most family homes where she can have all the love and enrichment she rightly deserves. We feel she would be happy with cat-savvy children aged 6 years and over and possibly a compatible feline pal. We do not know her reaction to dogs. Snowy owl will require outdoor access.

Apply online to adopt Pantera

Pantera was originally found as a pregnant stray and later gave birth in the finders home who later brought them to us. She is a very confident, energetic girl, who loves her play time almost as much as teatime. We don’t know how she feels about other pets but we think she’d be ok to live with cat savvy children ages 8+. Once settled, Pantera would require outdoor access.
