This lovely lady is Tiny, she is an 11 year old American bulldog. She was brought into Bleakholt due to having no room for her in the home. She is friendly with everyone she meets and loves a fuss. She enjoys playing with cuddly toys and having a mooch on our secure dog field. She does have hip and leg problems which means she is on shorter walks, this is managed with pain relief that is easily administered and are payed for and provided by Bleakholt. She would love to find a quiet, pet-free foster home for her retirement days with a comfy armchair for her to relax in. Alice is a 13 year old Staffordshire bull terrier that is full of love and affection. After spending time with a foster family, to recover from the stresses of being in the kennels, we feel she is now ready to find her forever home.
Alice loves nothing more than her favourite ball to play with, a warm blanket and someone to cuddle up to. She enjoys spending time sniffing and exploring in the garden, or on a quiet walk somewhere on a long lead. Alice is vocal at other dogs when on a walk, so she would be better suited in a pet free home.
She is a sweet and wonderful little girl that’s full of character and has a lot of love to give. Don’t let her age fool you, she is very playful and loves long walks. We feel she would need to be placed in a home where she won’t be left for long periods of time on her own.

This little man is Pip he is an 18mth old Terrier x. He is a little bit nervous for the first 10 mins, then he is your best friend, he is active, playful and very loving, he likes nothing more than being on your knee giving kisses and having a tummy rub. He will need some basic training and socialisation and this will take time, but he wants to please so that is a very good starting point, he has been around children so we would be happy to re-home with children aged 7yrs+, he is a bit vocal around other dogs and will bark at cats. Therefore we would not rehome him with other pets.

Hi we are Peanut and Teddie, we are 3year old chihuahua sisters, we are very timid girls and need someone to spend time getting to know us. We are not used to going out for walks and don’t know how to walk on a lead as we have only ever gone in the garden. Our new owners must be very patient and let us do things at our own pace and when we are comfortable, we would need someone that will let us just go in the garden while we build up trust and not be rushed into going for walks. Teddie is the more nervous one but Peanut is always checking on her.
