Raven is a neutered female Dutch cross, born around January 2024. She was brought into us as her owner had become unwell and could no longer care for her. Raven is friendly and loves to run around in a large enclosed space. However, like a lot of rabbits, she is timid to begin with. She has been well behaved since she’s been with us with no biting or handling issues. She has been vaccinated and neutered. We would like to re-home her as a partner for another rabbit, ideally a neutered male. She will be microchipped before re-homing with registration. Jennifer is a female Guinea pig who’s around 4-5 years old. She came to us as the guinea pig she was living with passed away and the owners didn’t want to keep her alone. Jennifer does have a mass/lump by her front leg, this has been examined by our vets and is no cause for immediate concern but it will need monitoring, for this reason we are hoping to re-home Jennifer on a foster agreement, so we can still get her vet treatment if needed but she can live in a home. She is quite nervous currently but is beginning to settle in and become more outgoing. We would like to re-home her to live with some Guinea pig company, ideally another female, female group or neutered male. They will need bonding time and may need to be side by side for a while. She will need indoor accommodation but will enjoy sometime outdoors in the warmer weather. Guinea pigs can make great pets with the right set up and a little patience. We believe Robin and Sparrow are sisters, both born sometime in the early part of 2024, and we are re-homing them as a pair. They came to us in the sad situation of their owner going into a care home with dementia. Sparrow is on the left with the dark brown coat, Robin has the ginger colouring on the right. Both have short coats and both are small/medium sized rabbits. Both are fit and well, have gentle natures but are still a little timid of being handled. Both have been together since their arrival and both are clean in their living area. Both have been vaccinated and neutered. These two would be fine in secure outdoor accommodation or could adapt to indoor living. They may be best initially indoors over the winter then will be fine to move outdoors when the weather improves. These two would love a second chance in a loving home, ideally with an experienced owner who has time to spend with them. These 2 would not be best suited to very young children as they are still jumpy when handled but older children would be fine. Goose is a dutch cross, around 1 years old. She was brought into us as her owner had become unwell and could no longer care for her. Goose is quite shy to begin with but has shown no issues with handling and has had no instances of biting. When outside she tends to hide so does need time to allow her confidence to build. She may do better starting off living inside in the winter and being moved outside once the warmer weather comes. She has been vaccinated but is not yet neutered so adopters will receive vouchers for free neutering for when she has settled in, should she not be neutered before rehoming. We would like to re-home her as a partner for another rabbit, ideally a placid neutered male. She will be microchipped before re-homing with registration. Magnum is a neutered male plush lop rabbit. He is around one and a half years old. Magnum came into us from a vet practice as he was found abandoned, so we have no history on him. He can be quite nervous of people initially and isn’t great to handle at the moment but could adapt quite well with some patience. He will need a quiet home with no young children or dogs. Adults and older children will need to spend time with him for him to trust them. He will need careful handling and would be best with an experienced owner. Magnum would like some company and we are hoping to re-home him as a partner for an existing lone rabbit, ideally a neutered female. When bonding him adopters will need separate temporary accommodation until both rabbits can live together safely. Thumper is a neutered male who was born in Oct 2022. Thumper came to us from a difficult back ground, but has settled down and relaxed noticeably since then and now is quite settled. Thumper is friendly with people and has been used to other rabbits. Thumper can be re-homed as a house rabbit or outdoors with a suitable friend, ideally a neutered female. Thumper is a large rabbit and adopters will need to take this into account regarding his living area and handling.
