Rabbits of the Week – Rhonda & Megan

Rhonda and Megan are a pair of female rabbits who are around two years old. They had been left in a box in a field near Bury. It’s thought they are a cross breed with a wild rabbit. They are both very timid and behave like wild rabbits so it’s very difficult to handle them and they scare very easily. They would be best suited to a home where the owner can give them their basic care needs whilst realising it will take a long time before they become tame, if ever. Any accommodation must be very secure and any exercise area needs to be covered as they will climb and can jump high. They are not suitable to be re-homed with dogs or young children. They have now been with us at the Sanctuary for over a year with no interest so we are hoping we find that special person happy to adopt a pair that need that little extra time and patience. They SO deserve another chance.

If you think you can offer these two gorgeous girls a loving home, please pop in any day between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
