We recently took in a stray Mum and her 3 beautiful kittens who had been born on the streets. They were in an appalling way as they were suffering from cat flu. If left untreated this can cause severe damage to their eyes and this is exactly what happened to these poor babies who had been left to fend for themselves.

Having seen the Vet, only one of the kittens could be treated without surgery and then monitored carefully, but sadly the other two were so bad that the only alternative was for them both to have an eye removed.

The kitties went for their operations on Monday 20 August and so far are doing as well as can be expected.

There is one VERY important message here for us all folks – PLEASE NEUTER YOUR PETS. These photos (taken before their op) break your heart don’t they? So yes, it can be a bit grim here sometimes, but our staff are simply amazing.

It’s cases like this that desperately need our help and we are literally ‘caring for those who have no-one’. This is why it so important to safeguard the future of our Sanctuary so if you would like to help, please donate whatever you can – every little helps.

It’s all of you that makes all the difference so it’s YOU that makes this all possible.

Thank you for your amazing support
