Harlie is a lovely lady who has come into Bleakholt as she was unhappy in the home since the owners moved. She had been in the home all of her life but became stressed with the house move and didn’t settle in the new home. We think Harlie would be best suited to a quiet home with no other pets as she didn’t get along with the other cat in the home who was her brother. Harlie has previously lived with a child and was fine with that so we think she would be fine to live with a sensible child in her new home. Once fully settled, she will need access to the outdoors.

Meet Trix. This little lady came to us as her owners we’re no longer able to afford her veterinary care. Trix previously lived with a German Shepard, another cat and children so would suit most home environments. She is a confident lady and its hard to not fall in love with her affectionate personality. Trix has previously suffered from over grooming, causing scabs, but the condition appears to be under control now. She will need outdoor access in her new home once fully settled.

Tango was brought into us as their owner sadly passed away. He is a shy boy who do take a while to come out of their shells, but once he does, he is the loveliest boy! Tango has made it clear that he is not a huge fan of other felines, so they will have to be the only pet in their new home. We feel the ideal place for this boy is a quieter home with cat savvy children aged 10 years and older who will understand when they’d prefer to be left alone for a while. Once fully settled Tango will require outdoor access as this is what they are used to. Tango is also missing half of his tail, we have no idea how or when this happened but it is not affecting him whatsoever, and is healed over completely!

Cheeky Chicken came in to our care with her friend Duck when her owner had too many cats to be able to cope. She is a sweet girl though timid at first so a quiet home would be ideal. She would most likely be fine to live with a compatible feline companion however we are unsure about dogs. We do feel Chicken would be ok to live with children over the ages of eight and once settled, she’d prefer access to the outdoors. She can be rehomed with Duck but doesn’t have to be.

Bella is a lovely lady who came to us with her brother Leo due to their owner becoming allergic to them. We have been told she is the more confident one of the two- though they are both loving, cuddly and playful. We are looking for a home for Bella with no young children or other pets. Whilst the siblings have live together their whole lives, they show no signs of bonding so we are happy to rehome separately. Bella has little road sense so will need outdoor acess away from busy and main roads.

Peri Peri is a confident, friendly girl who came to Bleakholt with her younger sisters Garlic and Herb. Their owner had too many cats to cope with due to unplanned litters and was struggling to find all the cats new homes. We think Per Peri would suit most homes, she’s a purring machine who loves a good cuddle and to play with her toys. Peri Peri will require outdoor access once settled in her new home.

Described as a cuddly, playful, lapcat, Ember spends most of her day sprawled out in her cage, not a care in the world! She has previously been around other cats and children aged 2 years +. Whilst she has been around a dog before, she had a tendency of standing her ground so a new canine companion would need to understand Ember is the boss in the home. She will need outdoor access in her new home as this is what she is used to.
