Joshua was found wandering in Prestwich a few weeks ago and came to us mid June. Now a little over 5 months old and well settled in, he’s quickly made a name for himself as the sanctuary’s official mischief-maker! Which is (no doubt) going to cause Yorick and Morag to be competing with him even more?? This little lad doesn’t believe in fences whatsoever. He leaps over them like a gymnast, and more mornings than we can count, we’ve found him sat quite contentedly on the windowsill, like a very confused cat (just one that’s eaten all of the crackers overnight).
He’s curious, giddy as anything, and full of energy. Little Joshua is a true whirlwind of charm. Since being neutered, Joshua has begun bonding closely with our gentle Wallace, who he seems to see as a mother figure even though Wallace is a male himself! ????
Their friendship is absolutely lovely to see, and Joshua has now fully integrated with the rest of the herd. And now for the exciting bit… Joshua is officially up for sponsorship! ??
By sponsoring Joshua, you’ll be helping us care for him as he grows, explores (usually where he shouldn’t), and keeps us all on our toes. He’s already become a firm favourite with staff and volunteers and we know he’ll be stealing hearts in no time.
