See a penny pick it up, all day long you’ll have good luck! This lucky penny came to Bleakholt due to her owners not managing, and was such nervous little lady. She has slowly come round to us now, purring away at first stroke, jumping at any opportunity for some attention but still jumpy with sudden moves and noises, often finding comfort burrowed in her big blanket. Due to her nature, a home with no young children or dogs is needed, although she may benefit from a feline friend to help her confidence. We feel Penny would be the perfect companion for a single person or couple who just want a pet to shower with love! Penny will need outdoor access in her new home.

Garlic and Herb are confident, friendly girls who came to Bleakholt with their sister Peri Peri. Their owner had too many cats to cope with due to unplanned litters and was struggling to find all the cats new homes. They are typical kittens who love to play and love a good fuss so we think they would suit most homes, the ladies will require outdoor access once settled.

Smokey is a friendly little lady who came to us from a vets after being found as a stray. She is a loving and playful girl who would suit most homes. Smokey seems fine with the other cats at the sanctuary, we think she would be fine to live with children 5+years and she is confident enough to live with a cat friendly dog. Smokey will require outdoor access in her new home once she is settled.

We have also noticed she loves to play! Especially with her purple toy mouse. We think she’d be suited to a home with no dogs, potentially a compatible cat and children over the ages of six. Once settled, Miss Ham would like a home where she can have outdoor access.
